In an apparent effort to cut costs, boost profits, and avoid regulatory oversight, Shein has recently contracted with SpeedX — a low-cost, virtually unregulated delivery service — to handle the shipment of its products. SpeedX operates through a shadowy network of subcontractors, employing unvetted, inexperienced, and in many cases dishonest drivers who have repeatedly stolen packages, mishandled deliveries, or simply failed to complete them at all.
SpeedX provides no legitimate customer service and cannot be reached through traditional means. Communication is limited to ineffective text bots and automated chat systems that offer no accountability, no human contact, and no resolution. Customers have no direct line to dispute deliveries or report theft and loss in any meaningful way.
What’s even more disturbing is that Shein actively retaliates against customers who complain about SpeedX. Users who report missing or stolen packages are often met with account suspensions, revoked access to reviews, and a total erasure of any attempt to warn others. This is a blatant act of silencing victims while protecting a delivery partner that has clearly failed to meet even the most basic standards of integrity and professionalism.
These practices represent not just negligence, but a deliberate and systemic disregard for consumer rights. Reports of SpeedX drivers delivering packages to incorrect addresses, ignoring clearly posted instructions, or falsely marking deliveries as complete are numerous. For example, SpeedX marked a package as delivered to a building’s management office — despite a visible sign on the door stating the office was closed that day. In another instance, despite both written instructions and signage explicitly directing packages not to be left at the door, the driver dumped the package in plain view, exposing it to theft.
Numerous packages have been lost or stolen as a result of these reckless practices, and Shein has refused to investigate or accept responsibility. Instead, it chooses to shield its shipping partner and punish its own customers for speaking out.
Efforts are currently underway to bring Shein and SpeedX to public attention and hold them accountable through civil litigation and criminal referrals for fraudulent, retaliatory, and negligent business practices. This is not just bad customer service — it is a coordinated scheme that harms consumers and enables theft under the guise of e-commerce efficiency.

Apartment number indicated as #2028 on the package.

Package left at apartment #2024.

Delivery note posted at the door instructing the driver not to leave the packages at the door.
When a complaint was submitted to Shein regarding this incident — along with a warning that, if no action was taken against the delivery company, other users would be alerted — Shein responded not with concern, but with retaliation.
My account was abruptly suspended, effectively silencing their ability to post reviews and warn others through the platform. Despite repeated requests, Shein has refused to specify how the user allegedly violated its Terms of Use. As a result of these egregious and unlawful actions, a lawsuit has been initiated against Shein and its affiliates to hold them accountable.
